Exhibition of a &amp;quot;living specimen of a hermaphrodite,&amp;quot; followed by a discussion. Dr. Barnes also referenced another case of hermaphroditism that he had reported in the third edition of his book, A manual of midwifery for midwives (v.: Barnes, page 165 »»). The photographs can be reliably attributed to Dr. Ernest Muirhead Little (1854-1935) who was a surgeon at the National Orthopedic Hospital at the time. Dr. Little received his medical training at St. George&amp;#039;s Hospital where Fancourt Barnes&amp;#039;s father was an obstetric surgeon on the staff.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
